Pursuing an ATR 72 Type Rating is a strategic move to enhance your career prospects and gain a competitive edge in the airline pilot job market. The ATR 72 is a highly sought-after aircraft, especially in regional and short-haul markets, where it is known for its fuel efficiency and versatility. In India, the ATR 72 is widely used by domestic airlines for regional connectivity, making it an essential aircraft in the fleet. Globally, the ATR 72 is one of the most popular turboprop aircraft, with hundreds of units in service across various airlines. Its continued demand, particularly for regional operations, underscores the value of obtaining an ATR 72 Type Rating, providing aspiring pilots with excellent career opportunities in both domestic and international markets.
We offer ATR 72 Type Rating training in compliance with DGCA India regulations. Our comprehensive program includes both MCC (Multi-Crew Cooperation) and JOC (Jet Orientation Course)
MCC – Multi-Crew Cooperation Course
The Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) Course is a vital training component for every commercial airline pilot, focusing on teamwork and coordination in a multi-crew environment. Pilots learn to understand their roles during different flight phases, whether executing normal operations or managing abnormal and emergency situations. This course emphasizes essential skills such as effective communication, decision-making, checklist usage, and mutual support, providing a comprehensive understanding of the operational framework within a multi-crew setup.
Training is conducted on an ATR 72 Fixed Base Simulator, offering an immersive experience to understand the aircraft systems and dynamics, ensuring pilots are well-prepared to operate the ATR 72 in a multi-crew setting.
JOC – Jet Orientation Course
The Jet Orientation Course (JOC) prepares pilots for the transition from piston-engine aircraft to jet operations, focusing on the specific characteristics of jet aircraft like the ATR 72. This course equips pilots with the skills, situational awareness, and technical knowledge necessary for proficiently handling jet engine operations.
The JOC is considered a mandatory prerequisite by many airlines worldwide during their pilot selection process. Training ensures pilots gain the foundational knowledge to manage the operational aspects of a jet aircraft, fostering a smooth transition to commercial jet flying.
