About Skyborne Airline Academy

Skyborne Airline Academy, based in Vero Beach, Florida, partners with IndiGo to deliver a world-class cadet pilot program. This pathway offers a dual-licence qualification — FAA and DGCA — with modern simulators, a professional campus, and mentoring from start to finish.

Selected by IndiGo from day one, cadets receive a Letter of Intent (LOI) and direct career progression towards becoming a First Officer with IndiGo.

Program Overview

Phase 1: Ground school in India
Phase 2: US FAA CPL & SEIR Flight Training at Vero Beach, Florida (12 months)
Phase 3: DGCA Flight License Conversion in India (2 months)
Phase 4: Combined MCC & A320 Type Rating (3 months)

Throughout your training journey, Skyborne provides structured mentorship and guidance to ensure seamless transition from training to IndiGo employment.

Selection Process

  1. Stage 1: Skyborne Aptitude & English Assessment (Delhi)
  2. Stage 2: IndiGo Group Discussion
  3. Stage 3: IndiGo Personal Interview

All stages are eliminatory and are conducted jointly by Skyborne and IndiGo. Applicants must hold at least a DGCA Class 2 medical to appear for Stage 1.
