Eligibility
➢ Education – Applicants must possess an education level of 10+2 with minimum score of 51% / Grade Point 6 / Grade C1 (CBSE) individually in each subject i.e., Physics / Mathematics / English.
➢ CITIZENSHIP – Indian National or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) holder, Hold, or be eligible to hold, an Indian passport with unrestricted rights to live and work in India and travel worldwide
➢ MEDICAL – Current and valid DGCA Class I Aviation Medical Certificate and obtain a US FAA Class 1 Medical Certificate before commencing flight training.
➢ Age – You must be aged 18-35 on the first day of the selection process.
➢ Language – Fluent in English – both written and spoken
SELECTION PROCESS
➢ Once your application has been verified, you will be invited to take the Skyborne selection process, which is divided into three stages
➢ There is a non-refundable one-time assessment fee OF GBP 250 that covers all three stages (providing you are successful at every stage).
Stage One:
You will be invited to a face-to-face assessment event in Delhi conducted by Skyborne. The assessment will include a variety of aptitude tests, English language and personality questionnaire using the Symbiotics platform.
Stage Two:
Group Discussion conducted by IndiGo, in person.
Stage Three:
Personal Interview with IndiGo, in person.
Phase 1
Overview
➢ PHASE 1 – GROUND SCHOOL INDIA (4 MONTHS)
➢ PHASE 2 – US FAA CPL SEIR (12 MONTHS)
➢ PHASE 3 – FORIENG LIC CONVERSION (2 MONTHS)
➢ PHASE 4 – A320 TYPE RATING (3 MONTHS)
Phase 2
Flight Training (CPL - SE/IR)
Takes place at air bases in Dhana and Neemuch.
Fleet –
➢ Cessna 172/Piper Archer DX – 185 hours on all Single Engine
Aircraft
➢ Diamond DA42 aircraft – 15 hours on Diamond DA 42 Multi-Engine
Aircraft
➢ DGCA-approved aircraft simulators – 30 hours of Simulator Flying
Phase 3
